Glen Ellyn Infant Welfare Society Events
Throughout the year, we organize various fundraising events to raise funds for our deserving agencies. See below for a snapshot of some of our annual events.
Housewalk
This wonderful fundraiser allows residents from all over to tour fabulous homes in Glen Ellyn. Members guide the tours throughout the day as well as work on committees to make the event a huge success each year.
Monte Carlo
Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, Monte Carlo raises significant funds to help those in need. These funds are used to support numerous family and children's charities in our community.
Spring Bruncheon
At this event we present our donations and scholarships to the invited agency representatives and recipients. The outgoing Board is recognized and the Board and Officers for the following year are installed.
Seasonal Plant Sales
During the Spring GEIW sources beautiful spring flowers to purchase and delivered to their homes. During the Fall an assortment of mums are available for purchase and delivered directly to homes in the local Glen Ellyn area.
Family Fitness Walk
Each year, the high school GEIW Junior Volunteers organize a morning of fun and fitness at Glenbard West High School. This group of high school students plans and organizes this event that raises money and awareness for our agencies.
