Glen Ellyn Infant Welfare Junior Volunteers – 2018/19
Purpose:
The GEIW Junior Volunteers is created to enhance community awareness and fundraising for the existing organization by harnessing the ideas and energy of our younger community. The GEIW Junior Volunteers provide the following:
Organization:
The Volunteer group is open to all High school students in our community who are interested in doing service and fundraising for GEIW. Meetings and activities will run from June – May. The GEIW Junior Volunteer Group will report to a new committee headed up by GEIW Members: Lisa Lane, Margaret Immink and Amy Hart. Reports will be provided at Board meetings and general meetings.
Membership/Fees:
The GEIW Junior Volunteers is NOT exclusive to GEIW members. If you know of a high school age student who you feel would enjoy volunteering his or her time, PLEASE let a committee member know and they will make contact with him or her.

- Ability to reach a larger portion of the GE community through family/youth oriented activities
- Strengthen GEIW, Housewalk and other key GEIW events through greater awareness
- Educate Glen Ellyn children on service
