Agency Liaison
Reagan Irving & Maureen Colalillo
The Agency Liaison acts as a liaison between Glen Ellyn Infant Welfare and the agencies and organizations that we support. We reach out to our agencies to seek what support and funding they need. We assist the board and membership to discern how best the funds raised can be disbursed to our agencies. We also invite representatives of our agencies to speak briefly at our general meetings to educate us and to illustrate the overlap of our shared missions in service to others.
Community Service Lead
Heidi Ruskusky & Rachel Stoughton
The Community Service Lead oversees placement opportunities with our agencies to help us maintain our monthly commitments with the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry, People’s Resource Center and organizing volunteers for Family Shelter Holiday Shoppe.
Communication Chair
Vanessa Pfaff
The Communication Chair will notifies all active members of meetings, and impart any other information to the membership as may be necessary from time to time.
Development Chair
Marissa Cook
The Development Chair is responsible for maintaining our database of businesses and individual donors, as well as fundraising solicitation done through mailings.
Family Aid Co-Chairs
Rachel Stoughton & Jen Preston
The Family Aid Co-Chairs work with the community and guidance counselors of local school districts to provide “emergency” assistance for individuals/families in need.
Housewalk Co-Chairs
Maureen Burke
The Housewalk Co-Chairs coordinate all aspects of the Housewalk and sub-committees, including but not limited to, the Search Committee, Tour Guide Booklet (TGB) Committee and all traditional Housewalk Committee duties such as House Captain, Vendor Coordination, Publicity, Scheduling, Luncheon, Raffle.
Hospitality Co-Chairs
Jenny Greanias & Jen Murphy
The Hospitality Co-Chairs plan and organizes food and drinks for our monthly meetings.
Membership Co-Chairs
Lindsay Shaw & Dana Klen
Membership Co-Chairs hold new member gatherings each year to educate prospective members about our organization. They maintain the active and sustaining member lists and update Directory Spot with new members information, as well as existing members information. They encourage all members, including new members, to be actively involved in GEIW by joining at least one committee per year.
Parliamentarian
OPEN
The Parliamentarian is responsible for advising the board and membership on correct procedures according to our bylaws, keeping all records pertaining to attendance at meetings and maintaining copy of bylaws.
Website & Social Media Co-Chairs
Cori Cohen & Amanda Horan
The Website and Social Media Co-Chairs are responsible for promoting Glen Ellyn Infant Welfare and our events in the community throughout the year. This includes maintaining and using the “Friends of Infant Welfare” email list, posting to social media such as Facebook, updating our website with event information, utilizing Publicity Partners and other media outlets as needed depending on the event.
Scholarship Co-Chairs
Kristi Kovich & Britt Gomsak
The Scholarship Co-Chairs work with guidance counselors at Glenbard West and Glenbard South high schools to award 2 year scholarships to College of Dupage. Committee duties include: student interviews at GBW and GBS, accompanying recipients to GEIW Bruncheon, working with COD to ensure funds are delivered and administered appropriately to each student, keeping communication in place to insure recipients have the tools necessary for success and are meeting GEIW standards.
Social Committee

The Social Committee plans all social events for the organization, Holiday and Housewalk parties as well as the end of the year Bruncheon.
Plant Sales Committee
Sara Grizzo & Stacey Handal
GEIW Plant sales are held in the fall (mums) and in the spring (annuals). This committee develops and sends out order forms to members, coordinates with nursery; collects order forms and implements delivery of flowers.
Fall/Winter Fundraiser

The Fall Fundraising Committee develops and organizes a fundraiser in the fall.
