What does it mean to become a member?

• GEIW gives you an opportunity to become involved in the Glen Ellyn Community while making meaningful connections with like-minded women
  
• Attend monthly meetings that include socializing and GEIW event planning
  
• Participate in our annual Housewalk fundraiser (our biggest fundraising event of the year)
• Pay annual dues of $50
• Opportunity to gain leadership experience by participating in GEIW committees 
• Assist and attend various events
• Give back to your community by volunteering at the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry and during fundraising events throughout the year

How do we raise funds?

• Annual Housewalk Fundraiser
• Fall Fundraiser (Monte Carlo, Barn Dance)
• Seasonal Flower Sales
• Donations 

Where do the funds go?

• Scholarships - we award 2 - 4 scholarships to the College of Dupage each year to local students
• Local agencies that help children in our community 
• Given directly to local families in need through school social workers
